Chicago Plan Commission, 1929
This volume sets forth the principal events which occurred in connection
with the Outer Drive Improvement project. It includes all the maps, plats,
estimates of cost and other data relating to the recommended plan, and
information as to the six alternate plans developed by the Plan Commission's
technical staff. The completion of this project resulted in the construction
of the Lakeshore Drive bridge over the Chicago River and the final connection
between the Outer Drive in Grant Park and Lakeshore Drive at Ohio Street.
